Las Vegas Aces managed to secure a narrow 77-75 victory over the Chicago Sky, with A’ja Wilson scoring a layup at the buzzer to seal the win. Wilson, a two-time MVP, contributed 20 points and 18 rebounds for her 21st double-double of the season. Kelsey Plum added 18 points, Megan Gustafson scored 13, and Chelsea Gray chipped in with 11 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.

Chicago’s Angel Reese had an impressive game with 22 rebounds, setting a season-high for the team. Despite Reese’s efforts, Chicago suffered its third consecutive loss, causing them to slip to a half-game lead over the Atlanta Dream for the final playoff spot. Chennedy Carter led the Sky with 25 points, Lindsay Allen added 16 points and five assists, and Michaela Onyenwere contributed 15 points.

The game saw back-and-forth action, with both teams trading leads throughout. Las Vegas managed to pull ahead in the fourth quarter, extending their lead to 13 points at one stage. However, Chicago fought back to tie the game in the final minute before Wilson’s game-winning shot secured the victory for the Aces.

Next, the Las Vegas Aces will face the Dallas Wings on Tuesday, while the Chicago Sky will host the Washington Mystics on Wednesday.
