Fox News Reporter Trey Yingst to Release Book on October 7 About Hamas Invasion of Israel

Fox News’ chief foreign correspondent, Trey Yingst, is set to release a book this fall coinciding with the one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks in Israel. The book titled “Black Saturday” is scheduled to be published on Oct. 1 by Fox News Books, an imprint of HarperCollins. According to the publisher, Yingst will provide readers with a gripping account of the horrors and violence witnessed during the events of October 7, interspersed with tales of bravery and compassion that shone through amidst the darkness of that morning.

Yingst shared in a statement on Tuesday that he and his team were on the scene in southern Israel as the tragic events of October 7 were unfolding. He stated, “‘Black Saturday’ immerses the reader in that fateful day while shedding light on the harsh realities of war as experienced by both Israelis and Palestinians.”

During his time at Fox News since 2018, 30-year-old Trey Yingst has reported on conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East. He gained significant recognition for his coverage on Oct. 7, where he narrowly escaped harm as a Hamas rocket landed merely 100 feet (30 meters) away from him.
