In a separate incident, authorities in Russia’s Krasnodar province revealed that a fire at an oil depot had also been sparked by falling drone debris. The fire was extinguished by Russia’s emergency services on Sunday morning.
These events unfolded following reports from a Ukrainian military spokesperson indicating that Kyiv’s troops had withdrawn from a neighborhood near Chasiv Yar, a crucial town in Ukraine’s Donetsk region that has suffered extensive damage during a prolonged Russian offensive.
