Ivanka Trump flashed a smile in New York City Tuesday morning as her father’s hush money trial entered its second day across town.
The former First Daughter, 42, cut a sleek figure in a black jacket, matching pants and sky-high stilettos as she was spotted leaving Aman New York on Fifth Avenue, a stone’s throw from Trump Tower.
The ritzy Midtown hotel and spa offers a luxe reprieve from the city’s hustle-and-bustle, but for a price: Just one night in a basic suite can run over $3,700.
Ivanka’s seemingly breezy attitude belied zero concern about her bombastic father Donald Trump’s hush money trial, which entered its second day Tuesday.
As the proceedings got underway, the Manhattan DA’s office pushed Justice Merchan to fine Trump $3,000 and hold him in “contempt of court” for allegedly breaching a gag order on the case.
The Republican presidential frontrunner hit out at porn star Stormy Daniels and his former financier Andrew Cohen online over the weekend, prompting prosecutors to claim that he compromised the judicial process.
The office also warned Trump that he could face 30 days in jail if he violated the gag order again.
Donald Trump – who was first indicted by DA Alvin Bragg last spring – is the first president in US history to face a criminal trial.
