The person was reported to be in non-critical condition upon arrival at the hospital. Six other individuals on the flight declined treatment and transport to the hospital, according to the Memphis Fire Department. The exact extent of their injuries was not disclosed. The turbulence occurred while the seat belt sign was illuminated, as confirmed by United Airlines.
